Hiring a wedding photographer is not just an ordinary service that you require for your big day, its how you want to look back and smile every time you open your wedding album. Wedding pictures speak a lot about your wedding; they help you keep memories of your most important day, fresh and vivid, as if it was just yesterday! Marriages are meant to last a lifetime, so hire a good San Francisco wedding photographer to ensure that you capture your perfect moment exactly the way you want to remember it ten years down the line.

A wedding photographer is someone who silently observes your wedding and captures your most precious moments. Not only does he capture the unsaid emotions in a single picture, but he also makes you look exceptionally beautiful and elegant; every bride’s dream come true!

Every bride wants to look stunningly beautiful on her wedding day. Needless to say, a lot of effort goes into it; getting the perfect wedding dress, the right hair style and correct make up. A good San Francisco wedding photographer can bring out the best in you. Any good San Francisco wedding photographer such as Moy Photography can make you look absolutely stunning in your wedding pictures; it’ll be exactly how you imagined it while flipping through other celebrity wedding pictures!

If you observe wedding albums keenly, you’ll observe that most of them have one intense picture as the cover page. Just one look at this picture and you can feel the emotions and feelings resurfacing. A well taken picture is like a beautiful portrait; it can convey a lot in just one look. For example; a picture taken from behind, wherein the couple walks down a beautifully decorated staircase, can imply a “lived happily ever after” fairytale ending to your wedding. On the other hand, a simple picture in which the groom kisses the bride can remind you of the love and the intense bond you share.

One of the important things to consider while hiring any San Francisco wedding photographer is the style in which you want the photographs taken. There are many styles to choose from; one of the simplest and safest options is the traditional style of taking pictures. This usually involves standard poses at different time intervals during the wedding. It gives a brief overview of the entire ceremony and other aspects of it. The only drawback with this style is that it makes the album too predictable.

Some people prefer wedding albums which are unpredictable and have certain uniqueness in them. While opting for this style, you need to trust your photographer to capture all the important moments correctly. Since there are no posses or standard picture shots, he will capture all the moments that he finds intense. The only drawback with this style is that the couple may miss the standard photographs which are taken in the traditional style of wedding photography.

There are plenty of San Francisco photographers, who can help you in materialize your ‘perfect wedding’ dream! Moy photography can be very helpful in preserving the ever lasting moments of your wedding.

Soraya and Gerardo’s Wedding – Our Lady Of Mercy Church – Crowne Plaza Foster City Wedding

Can someone tell me what was going on with 7-10-2010?  There must have been 10 other weddings going on when we were shooting on location that day, but that didnt stop us from getting our photos of Soraya and Gerardo’s wedding.

Soraya and Gerardo were preparing at different locations so we split our team up this time.  It trial by fire for two our newest members to the Moy Photography team, Alistair and Kenny Chow.  They didnt crash and burn so everything came out great!  Both bride and groom had an army of people helping them get ready and as well as goofing off!  Gerardo and his groomsmen were very animated and definitely showed they had a lot of fun.

Jennie and Dan – Engagement Session – Fort Point San Francisco

We spent the entire afternoon working with Jennie and Dan traveling around the shores of San Francisco.  We picked an alternate location from the norm and decided to go to fort point.  We’ve been trying to travel to new sites and give some new perspective on other sites of San Francisco for engagement photos.  Fort Point is an old civil war fort right underneath the Golden Gate Bridge.  Since roof access is available we took our lovely couple up there to do some nice portraits.  The fort has a solid concrete spiral stair case that has very interesting lines and makes for great pictures!

We then moved on to Pier 1 in San Francisco and finished off our day with them at Stow Lake where they changed into their Dragon Boat jerseys.  They brought their paddles as well for some of the engagement photos.  This is how the couple met so they definitely wanted some pictures of how that all unfolded.

We’ve got a video in the works with them and this time its an interview style fusion piece so keep your eyes out for that and their upcomming wedding in October!  It was a hell of a day, thanks for working with us Jennie and Dan, cant wait to shoot your wedding!

Enjoy the highlights!

Cathy and Bobby – Engagement Session At Treasure Island

Ya vast mateys!  Theres TREASURE OUT THERE on them islands.  Actually there isnt.. its  a bunch of land fill that the Navy built out ages ago and now only the coast guard remains.  BUT, it provides a hell of a view for the bay area.  Awesome views of the skyline of downtown San Francisco, the Bay Bridge, and Golden Gate Bridge.  We took Cathy and Bobby out there for an awesome engagement session.

Of course we end up on the beach as Bobby proposed to Cathy on the beach and it was something that was very special to them.  So ahoy! More beach photos.

Fantastic couple to work with, and I cant wait to work with them again.  We’ll be doing their wedding this August so keep an eye out for their wedding later on.

Golden Gate Park in San Francisco can have endless possibilities for photo shoots.  This time we decided to do our engagement shoot starting at the De Young Museum in San Francisco.  Sharon and Tyler met working in a lab at Kaiser, so if you’re wondering why there are lab coats in a “dream sequence”, thats why.
