It started off a gloomy typical Bay Area Feburary.  Raining, wet, cold in the morning.  As the afternoon came in, miraculously all the rain went away as if spring had arrived out of no where.  Now, most of us who live here know it will rain probably until April so this was quite a surprise.

Jessie and Pete wanted their photos down in Santa Cruz by Steamer Lane Light house.  Its a beautiful stretch of cliffs and beach just down the road from the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.  The weather and scene was just phenomenal and made for some great engagement photos.  There were many surfers out there this weekend as well as news crews to try and cover a tsunami as a result of the Chile Earthquake, but like Hawaii (and fortunately) it didnt hit our shores.  So both counts brought masses of people out.

This was a change from our typical San Francisco engagement photo scene, so it was refreshing for us just to be somewhere else.  We’re always open to shooting new locations and looking for beautiful scenery to add to our couples!  Here are some highlights.  Enjoy!
