I’ve finally finished the set from Maria and Joe’s wedding at the Villa Montalvo. Very nice set with natural light overall. It was a crazy day with all sorts of crews running around, but the wedding was fantastic! The weather had a mind of its own all day as well. Sunny, rainy, windy, cloudy and then rinse and repeat.
Maria and Joe were actually married late last year as they went for the 08/08/2008 craze. The number 8 signifies good luck in Chinese culture so they wanted to follow it. They had a nice small ceremony in City Hall San Francisco which Moy Photography covered as well.
So now 6 months later its the big ceremony!
It is a great of wedding photography picutres. Here are some highlights!

Our friends got married this past weekend so we ended up on a trip to Maui. Congrats to Katrina and Brian! It was some interesting weather but we sure had a great time. We definitely got some fun shots at the wedding and some great shots around the island as well. Here is a quick preview of some of them. Of course there was also the vacation part of all this. Did alot of water sports, snorkeling, kayaking and even treading through water with my equipment! That was a scary moment. Thank god my 1D Mark III is weatherproof which allowed me to get close to the water action. Great trip!
For those who are wondering do I or would I travel for a destination wedding? Yes as long as it doesnt conflict with my schedule!
Dont forget about those head shots! Its not all about weddings. Whether it would be for your company website, monthly news letter, bio, modeling portfolio and even facebook profile. They can be easily done at the convience of your office or just drop by my home studio so we can setup and go. Give me a ring and we can set something up.
